Rosolio di Bergamotto

ROSOLIO DI BERGAMOTTO by ITALICUS is a bittersweet liqueur dominated by citric aromas, perfect for cocktails. Containing 20% alcohol and made in Italy, it can be enjoyed neat or as the base of a chilled cocktail. With a color similar to that of a clear white wine and notes reminiscent of Earl Grey, this liqueur reveals aromas of lavender, rose, fir needles and lemonade as you turn the glass. On the palate, it is slightly sweet, dominated by bergamot, with bitter touches of gentian and flowers.

Giuseppe Galli, founder of ITALICUS, grew up on the Amalfi coast, famous for its beautiful scenery and lemons. His mother used to prepare a liqueur from lemon zest, which can be considered the basis of his ROSOLIO DI BERGAMOTTO. In addition to the dominant bergamot notes, other plants from southern Italy are found in this liqueur, inspired by Rosolio, a drink popular in the 18th century.
