Ambre Levant
Louis Vuitton
As daylight begins to fade, light takes on a different character. The sun sets stone aglow, shadows grow longer and the air seems infused with the scents of spices and precious woods. It is within this suspended moment, between the warmth of day and the promise of night, that Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud conceived Ambre Levant, an Eau de Parfum where amber and oud meet in a distinctly contemporary interpretation.
The composition opens with the succulent freshness of mandarin, warmed by cinnamon, white pepper and a hint of saffron. At its heart, amber reveals its full depth, enriched by the resinous warmth of labdanum, the purity of white incense and the mineral tension of ambergris. As the final signature, an exceptional oud unfolds with a woody depth of rare refinement.
Sourced in Bangladesh through an exclusive partnership with a family of artisans whose expertise spans generations, this oud comes from trees aged over 30 years. Its remarkable aromatic richness extends the fragrance with a woody, spicy and ambery trail that feels both mysterious and enveloping.
Ambre Levant joins the Voyage au Moyen-Orient collection, through which Louis Vuitton explores the cultures and olfactory landscapes of a region shaped by centuries-old traditions. Its iconic bottle, crafted from transparent black glass and nuanced with amber reflections, echoes the golden glow of twilight.
A fragrance like a precious hour, when light reaches its most radiant before slowly disappearing — and night truly begins.
