Despite a steady stream of successes, the 5-star Cervo hotel has undergone some major updates this year. A seventh chalet was built and three new room categories were added: Huntsman, Alpinist and Nomad (some even accessible by climbing wall!). The Cervo Puro restaurant, recognized by Gault&Millau, has given way to Madre Nostra, now dedicated to fine Italian cuisine with a mix of much-loved classics and contemporary delights. The brand new Bazaar is simultaneously a café, bar, Eastern-inspired restaurant and market, where every object can – and should be – bargained for! There’s also the brand new Mountain Ashram Spa, complete with a tea yurt, which regroups the best spa treatments from around the globe. Best of all, everything was done with the environment in mind, as its almost fully powered by regenerative energy and a regional supply chain.
