A new cable car at Mont Gelé
Freeriders are no doubt well acquainted with the old cable car built in the 1960s that would take them to the Mont Gelé peak. Now it can become a memory. Téléverbier has just invested 5.2 million francs to renovate it from top to bottom, going as far as demolishing and rebuilding the old departure station at the bottom. The new station, which is due to begin operations on December 15, 2017, will transport a total of 45 people in 9 round trips per hour. Guaranteed to get you to the slopes without the crowds!
