Emirates, the world's largest international airline, is celebrating the official opening of its new Travel Store in Geneva. Located in the prestigious Rue du Rhône, in the heart of the city, this store is the airline's first physical retail presence in Switzerland. The opening marks a significant milestone in Emirates' ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel experience for its Swiss customers and is part of its long-term investment in Switzerland - one of its key European markets.

Spanning 134 square metres, the Travel Store was officially inaugurated on May 20, 2025, by Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hissa Abdulla Ahmed Al-Otaiba, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Swiss Confederation, H.E. Jasim Alabdouli, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Geneva, Daniel Loeffler, Deputy Secretary-General at Departement of economic development at State of Geneva, Vincent Subilia, Director General of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce (CCIG), Gilles Rufenacht, Director General of Geneva Airport, as well as other distinguished guests, trade partners, and media representatives.

“We are pleased to officially open our long-awaited new Travel Store in Geneva today, bringing our renowned onboard services closer to our customers right in the city centre,” said Adnan Kazim. “This innovative concept reflects our commitment to offering customers the highest standards of service that complement their seamless travel journeys with Emirates. By incorporating experiential elements in the store such as our Business Class seat, combined with dedicated travel consultants, we aim to give visitors a tangible preview of the holistic Emirates experience – starting from planning their travel journey all the way through to boarding our aircraft.”

Blending Innovation and Service
The Emirates Travel Store in Geneva offers Swiss customers a dedicated space where personalised services and brand experiences come together under one roof. The store has been designed to embody modern luxury and comfort, exuding a warm and relaxed atmosphere – soft lounge chairs in beige, complemented by sleek, modern furniture, create a comfortable lounge environment for customers as they’re served by the dedicated travel experts. While waiting, guests can browse a selection of merchandise from Emirates’ official store and exclusive travel accessories.

At three dedicated customer service counters, trained Emirates travel consultants provide personalised assistance for flight reservations or to discuss the airline's latest offers, products, and destinations. The team is committed to delivering Emirates' signature hospitality, ensuring that every visitor enjoys a seamless, thoughtful, and elevated experience from the moment they step into the store.

A unique feature at Emirates’ Travel Store includes a large LED screen highlighting information about the airline, destinations, and exclusive Emirates offers, in addition to a self-service kiosk. A voice-activated selfie screen invites guests to take photos against backdrops of popular destinations in Emirates’ network. The images can then be accessed via QR codes, eliminating the need for printed copies. Guests can further get a close look at the Emirates’ Business Class seat, permanently on display at the store. The Emirates Travel Store in Geneva is now open from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:30, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
