A new table at the Backstage Hotel
The latest sweetheart of architect and designer Heinz Julen, the Backstage Hotel is the destination of choice for local creatives in Zermatt. And if the reputation of its seasonal restaurant, After Seven, were not enough (17 points from Gault&Millau), it will be joined on December 11th by another: The Diner's Club. Overseen by the same chef, Florian Neubauer, the new restaurant mimics the relaxed ambiance of the Vernissage club and lounge, located at the base of the building. On the menu: high-quality, gourmet delights just below a one-star level. The Diner's Club will be open year-round in the evenings except for Sundays and Mondays (and will be best enjoyed during one of Saturday's live performances!).
