There is really nothing more iconic in Val de Bagnes than the cheese! But how is it made, you ask? If you’ve been wondering, you’re in luck: the Laiterie de Verbier offers delightful cheese making workshops every week. Multiple-time winner of the Swiss Cheese Award, the Laiterie de Verbier allows you to make your own creamy fresh cheese or a soft “tomme” cheese (if you choose to leave it on site for a few weeks) on your own or with a partner, under the expert guidance of head cheesemaker Marc. Yet another reason to come back to Verbier!
