ZERMATT AS PART OF IKON PASS
In 2019-2020, Zermatt became the first European ski station to join the Ikon Pass network, the world’s most global ski pass with no fewer than 44 destinations across five continents (including more than a dozen with unlimited access when buying the highest tier package). The official partnership was renewed for the 2020-2021 season. Holders of the Matterhorn Ski Paradise season or annual pass enjoy additional ski days in destinations that are part of Ikon Pass. To tackle travel uncertainty related to the ongoing pandemic, any Ikon Pass that ends up not being used this winter season can be deferred to next winter. A proportional credit will be reimbursed to pass holders if any resort is closed due to COVID-19.
