The 5th edition Claim Your Style collection introduces four new 849™ ballpoint pens – Ocean Violet, Green Arctic, Sunstone Pink and Stormy Blue – as well as an original set of six two-tone pencils, both playing with contrasts. The colouring book, which has both white and dark blue pages, completes this bold collection, offering a different view of the world. Utilising their famous colour and lacquering expertise, Caran d’Ache have created a collection evoking a journey through nature and its most beautiful curiosities.

849™ An iconic, two-tone design
The iconic 849™, each one made in Caran d’Ache’s Geneva based factory, has never been quite so avant-garde in its colour combinations as in this collection. Glinting with iridescent hues of blue and violet, the 849™ Ocean Violet captures the very essence of twilight, plunging into the mysterious depths of the ocean. Embracing all the magic of the northern lights, the colours of the 849™ Green Arctic evoke polar nights, reflecting the mesmerising colours of the Far North.

The 849™ Sunstone Pink boasts warmer colours, reminiscent of the soft glow of dawn in the shimmering desert. Finally, the steel grey and deep blues of the 849™ Stormy Blue is inspired by a threatening sky, illustrating the powerful duality of the elements that can be peaceful yet full of wrath. Playing with marked contrasts, each design has its own world of subtle colour gradients, with the clip and button offering tone-on-tone harmony with the upper pen body.

An original set of two-tone pencils
This exploration of colour is also reflected in the set of six entirely original, two-tone coloured pencils that are also manufactured in the Caran d’Ache workshops in Geneva. The assortment boasts a reinvented range of colours, with three explosive metallic shades, three fluorescent colours bursting with vitality and six natural shades, ideal for results that are as subtle as they are vibrant.

The two-tone pencils open the door to a dual form of expression, making it possible to play with contrasts on both light and dark paper. They are a perfect companion for the new 20-page colouring book, focusing on the curiosities of nature.
