After Pink October in 2024 and Gold September in 2025, the Valais-based company ALPINTE continues its commitment to causes that concern us all. For the third consecutive year, the brand is unveiling a new solidarity campaign, this time bringing together three major cancer awareness periods: Gold September for childhood cancer, Pink October for cancers affecting women, and November for men’s health, particularly prostate cancer.

Through the Triple Ribbon Collection, ALPINTE is offering a limited-edition glass in three symbolic colours: gold, pink and blue. A single object to remind us that cancer can affect anyone, at any age, either directly or through someone close to them. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Swiss Cancer League, which provides information, advice and support to people affected by cancer and their loved ones, while also promoting prevention, early detection and research.

Three colours for a cause that concerns us all
With this new collection, ALPINTE aims to give visibility to several realities of cancer, without setting them against one another or creating a hierarchy. In Switzerland, around 48,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Nearly 350 children and adolescents are affected by childhood cancer every year. Breast cancer affects around 6,800 women and 60 men annually, while prostate cancer accounts for nearly 8,300 new cases among men each year.

Beyond the figures, this campaign highlights the importance of awareness, access to information, support for people affected and investment in research. Cancer remains a disease that profoundly disrupts lives, families and individual journeys. Through this initiative, ALPINTE aims, on its own scale and for the third consecutive year, to help keep these issues visible and support a leading national organisation.

A symbolic collection and a pioneering innovation
To embody this campaign, ALPINTE is unveiling a unique glass tinted in three colours: gold for childhood cancer, pink for cancers affecting women and blue for cancers affecting men. The main visual will feature the iconic Matterhorn, the brand’s signature mountain, while several models will be offered as part of this limited edition.

The Triple Ribbon Collection also marks a major step forward in the evolution of ALPINTE glasses. For the first time, the brand is incorporating a fully closed-bottom technology into its glasses, applied to a hand-blown glass featuring a 3D relief mountain. The result of several years of research and development, this innovation opens a new chapter in the design of these iconic objects, at the intersection of design, craftsmanship and technical expertise.

This new construction provides tangible improvements for everyday use. By optimising water circulation and drainage after washing, it prevents water from collecting beneath the base, facilitates drying and improves hygiene. The result is a more refined glass with better-balanced proportions, a more substantial feel in the hand and an even higher perceived quality. Each piece is made from hand-blown borosilicate glass and presented in packaging specially developed for this solidarity edition.

A commitment beyond the product
This new campaign continues the responsible approach ALPINTE has pursued since its beginnings. The brand is notably a main partner of the Summit Foundation and actively supports the Clean-Up Tour, an initiative dedicated to preserving the Swiss Alps. It also collaborates with the FOVAHM workshops in Sion, which take part in the assembly and personalisation of the products, adding a strong social dimension to every stage of creation.

This third solidarity campaign concludes a cycle launched in 2024 with Pink October, continued with Gold September in 2025, and expanded this year to bring several causes together under one symbol. True to its artisanal spirit, ALPINTE favours short supply chains and pays particular attention to quality, people and the meaning behind its creations.
