Schönegg, a Relais & Châteaux in Zermatt
Schönegg is the first establishment in Zermatt to become part of the esteemed Relais & Châteaux network. Connected to the village center by elevator, this venue promises exceptional face-to-face meetings with Zermatt’s most famous icon: the Matterhorn. This exceptional mountain can be savored from the restaurant, the terrace, or from many of the venue’s 48 bedrooms. The rooms inside the Petit Chalet (separated from the main building) are remarkable for their chalet-like ambiance that’s simultaneously both cozy and contemporary. The feeling is completed by an abundance of old wood with modern elements and an exceptionally enjoyable spa.
