Reinventing the Schweizerhof hotel
The Schweizerhof hotel is one of Zermatt’s most historic establishments and will be reopening its doors on December 21st following eight months of construction. Its 95 suites and bedrooms, reception and entrance hall, bar, ski room, pool, and conference rooms have all been majorly renovated for an updated chic new look. A gym, kid’s club and smoking lounge have all been added, and the restaurant selection has been expanded to include fine fondues and regional specialties, wood-oven stone plate pizza, ceviche and American-style BBQ.
