Mountain Bike World Championships in Crans-Montana
Five days of high-altitude skill and stamina
It’s this summer’s hottest sporting event: for the first time ever, Valais has been designated the host canton for the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships! The planet’s best bikers will go head-to-head in various disciplines at eight different locations. With its highly diverse trails and three dedicated mountain bike zones, Crans-Montana will host the Cross-Country Olympic discipline from 10-14 Sept., linking the centre of Crans-Montana to Lake Chermignon. Races of 8-laps will take place on 4.4 km tracks that feature technical sections, varied terrain and an elevation gain of 110 meters/lap.
