Ice Climbing: why not give it a go?

Ice Climbing: why not give it a go?

Release
Winter 2019-2020

Winter’s cold in Blatten, Furi, and Schweigmatten freezes the waterfalls that cling to the sides of Zermatt’s valley. These walls of ice are beautiful and intriguing. Many locals have succumbed to the temptation to climb them, including alpinists like Andreas Steindl, or Samuel and Simon Anthamatten. Accompanied by a specialized guide, curious day adventurers can also attempt to tackle this exciting challenge, with crampons strapped to their feet and an ice pick in hand. Ice climbing is an option for anyone over the age of 12, on the condition that participants be physically active, in good health, and ready to feel the burn in their forearms!
