Following the 40^th anniversary of the Book Fair, a new literary festival supported by the Canton and the City of Geneva is set for summer 2026: Grand Juillet. Intended to succeed La Fureur de Lire and Poésie en Ville, the event will take place from 5 to 12 July across numerous venues — including outdoors “by the water or under the trees” in good weather — and is completely free of charge. The event is organized by Author and Exhibition Curator Karelle Ménine, who is also the head of the Fatrasproduction association. Expect activities, meetings, readings and exchanges in combination with other art disciplines.
