Epic Pass to Expand its European Resort Lineup with Switzerland’s Crans-Montana

2024/25 Epic Pass on sale now with affordable access to world-class ski resorts across Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria

With the planned addition of Crans-Montana Mountain Resort to the Epic Pass lineup next winter*, this multi-resort season Pass is becoming an increasingly enticing option for skiers and snowboarders looking for incredible access to premier slopes across Europe. And while the snow is still falling this winter, now is the time to plan ahead for next winter, because the 2024/25 Epic Pass just went on sale and is currently available to purchase at the lowest price of the year. Guests who lock in their Epic Pass now will get affordable access to ski and ride iconic resorts in Europe, including: Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis (Switzerland), Verbier 4 Vallées (Switzerland), Les 3 Vallées (France), Ski Dolomiti (Italy), Ski Arlberg (Austria) – and newest addition Crans-Montana Mountain Resort (Switzerland), subject to the close of Vail Resorts’ acquisition.

Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Crans-Montana Mountain Resort offers skiers and riders an expansive world of over 1,400 meters of skiable vertical terrain with 140 kilometers of trails ready to be explored. The resort is two and a half hours away from Vail Resorts’ other owned and operated European resort, SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun, in Central Switzerland. Andermatt-Sedrun, when combined with neighboring mountain Disentis, offer 180 kilometers of pistes and 33 lifts climbing nearly 3,000 meters high.

One year into Vail Resorts’ majority stake acquisition of Andermatt-Sedrun, Vail Resorts has invested $11.5 million, with an additional $12 million to be invested into high-impact growth capital projects this coming summer to enhance the guest experience. Plans include upgrading and replacing snowmaking infrastructure at both the Sedrun-Milez area and the West sector to enhance the guest experience for key beginner and intermediate terrain, provide reliable early-season conditions and significantly improve energy efficiency. In addition, Vail Resorts plans to invest in the on-mountain dining experience with improvements to the Milez and Natschen restaurants. These investments are expected to be complete ahead of the 2024/2025 European ski season and remain subject to regulatory approvals and date changes.

In addition to its impressive European resort roster, the Epic Pass offers unlimited, unrestricted access to 37 incredible resorts in North America, including Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia; Vail Mountain and Breckenridge in the Colorado Rocky Mountains; and Park City Mountain in Utah. It is the perfect pass for Europeans interested in skiing both closer to home and across the Atlantic. The Epic Pass also offers access to Hakuba Valley and Rusutsu Resort in Japan.
