Do you snooc?
Rotenboden Station, 2,815 m. You may have barely stepped off the small red Gornergrat railway, and the regulars have already mounted their sleds for one of the most beautiful descents in the Alps. Their destination? Riffelberg station (2,582 m), just 1.5 km away. Beginning December 19, 2019, a new option will be available for winter sport enthusiasts: Snooc. What’s Snooc? It’s a sled made of a seat that’s built onto a single ski, with a handle for grip. Lightweight, comfortable, and easy to manoeuvre, Snoocs allow riders to turn or even carve simply by lowering one arm to the side. Snoocs can be rented along with classic sleds at Rotenboden.
