With its clean-lined, pared-down look, Breitling’s Superocean Collection appeals not only to watch enthusiasts and collectors. Since its relaunch in summer 2022, the fresh new colours and updated technical functions of this popular collection have helped transform these diver’s watches into ideal everyday timepieces. Despite the new look and features, Breitling has been sure to retain the striking style of the original Superocean Slow Motion from the 1960s and 70s. In an exclusive partnership, Breitling and Bucherer have joined forces to create three limited-edition Superocean Collection models, all featuring unique colours and exquisite materials that cannot fail to impress. Available exclusively at Bucherer, these three stylish models are also a fitting tribute to the partnership between the two Swiss companies that was successfully initiated this year.

In the 1960s, Breitling created the Superocean Slow Motion – a streamlined diver’s watch stripped of all unnecessary functions, such as a second hand. The designers deliberately left this out, focussing instead on creating a chronograph with a minute hand. Last year, the revamped Superocean Collection introduced a second hand and new, modernised design, without doing away with the instantly recognisable original Slow Motion look. The result? An artful blend of modernity and nostalgia.

In coming together, Breitling and Bucherer are uniting not just their rich heritage but also their great admiration for each other. Part of this process has been the creation of three special limited-edition models for the popular Breitling Superocean Collection. Each of these Bucherer Exclusive Superocean timepieces is characterised by its striking use of colours. These one-off creations are each limited to just 88 examples, making them a real head-turner for every occasion.

The Bucherer Exclusive Breitling Superocean 44 is available with a unidirectional rotating bezel in black with a ceramic inlay and screw crown.
