BRAFA 2026 will be held from 25 January to 1 February at Brussels Expo and will mark the 71st edition of the fair. Considered one of the most prestigious art events in Europe, it will bring together nearly 150 galleries from 19 countries, representing some 20 disciplines ranging from antiquity to contemporary art.

Klaas Muller, President of BRAFA: ‘We are already very excited about the next edition of the fair. The eclecticism of the specialities on offer is maintained, as is the high quality of the galleries that will be present. This confirms the longevity of our event, which continues to evolve in its own way.’

This edition will welcome 23 new, carefully selected galleries, nearly half of which are Belgian. They will enrich the antiques, decorative arts, modern and contemporary art, design and jewellery sections, with pieces ranging from old masters to 20th-century icons such as Magritte, Picasso, Cocteau and Keith Haring. Seven galleries are also returning, confirming the loyalty and appeal of the fair.

BRAFA 2026 will be able to count on the impressive presence of six Swiss galleries, confirming its position as an essential hub for the European art market: De Jonckheere (Geneva); Objects With Narratives (Geneva); Almine Rech (Gstaad & Monaco); Repetto Gallery (Lugano); Galerie von Vertes (Zurich & Freienbach); CKS Gallery (Geneva).

The layout will be redesigned: Halls 3 and 4 will be entirely dedicated to art, while Hall 8 will offer a new gastronomic space. The guest of honour will be the King Baudouin Foundation, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary and will present an exceptional collection of heritage treasures, accompanied by daily lectures and concerts.

More than just a fair, BRAFA aims to be a unique place for exchanges between gallery owners, collectors, curators and art lovers. It will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a late-night opening on Thursday 29 January (from 25 January to 1 February 2026).
