From December 17 to January 17, Zermatt celebrates winter's return with live ice sculpture carving. Specialized participating artists include uncontested ice experts the Odermatt de Büren (NW) brothers. This year's themes include Christmas, winter sports, and a tribute to Alpinist Lucy Walker. The sculptures will be lit each evening from 17:00 to 21:00.
