A world of strangeness blending art, thrill and imagination
“Voo” as in voodoo, “land” as in island. Set in an isolated corner of the Geneva countryside in Lanconnex, Vooland Island cultivates a carefully crafted strangeness. Created in 2025 by artist and tattooist Dominique Thévenoz, this open-air “cabinet of occult curiosities” brings together hundreds of objects and unusual immersive attractions. Designed to trigger chills and fear, the atmosphere blends the spookiness of a haunted house with witchcraft, pirates, taxidermy and short films that recount eerie local tales. Mysteries and thrills abound, regardless of whether Halloween is around the corner (or not)!
